Stage Managing
Interested in a hands-on role in the show process, from the rehearsal room to tech week and everything in between? Does working closely with a bunch of people sound like a blast for you? Then, you might love stage managing with On Broadway!
Stage managers act as a liaison between the cast and creative team of a production. They facilitate communication between the groups if any problems arise. The stage manager acts in the best interest of the cast members to ensure a positive rehearsal experience. The stage manager is in charge of scheduling for the rehearsal process, and they are responsible for calling cues for the tech team during performances. The most important (and best) part of being a stage manager is just being present at rehearsals — getting to know the cast as well as absorb the show material.
