Producing

Do you have an interest in design and marketing and want to be able to put “producing a show” on your résumé? You should totally consider producing with BUOB – no experience required!

The role of Producer of an On Broadway production is to create and distribute the advertisement and marketing of the show and to work alongside the creative team to further their visions. They will serve as a liaison between the production and Oboard. They are responsible for monitoring ticket sales with the assistance of the Treasurer on Eventbrite and for responding to any concerns or problems with Eventbrite. Producers also handle the photoshoot and the filming of the show, as well as the creation of the playbill and the decoration in the theater lobby for a given show. Producing teams consist of one or two heads with a few assistants.
